The biggest threat to western civilization. The sole purpose of the educational community including public and parochial schools since I was in third grade (1963)has been to subvert the family unit and the ideas of individuality and personal responsibility. I was privy to conversations between teachers and administrators at the catholic school I attended (my mother was a teacher)that were precursors to the lunatics running the asylum. Fortunately I came out being able to read, write and cipher.
Public schools then as now were driven by money, attendance taken to insure your state matching dollars and federal dollars as ed became a cabinet position. The budget is all important not the students. Teacher pay and benefits the top concern.
